Peter Hook and the Light Concert Review

A week ago I attended Peter Hook @peterhook and the Light’s concert in Dallas. The first set was a complete New Order album and the second set was a mix of Joy Division and New Order hits.

The crowd was really into the concert. I was fortunate to be on the third row. A lady next to me had her three year old strapped to her back (with headphones on, thankfully). At the end of the concert Hooky took off his sweaty T-shirt and three it to the Mom. He said the child had been great.

So why is a writer posting about a post punk concert? As it turns out Peter Hook, now 70 years old, is touring the globe with his son, Jack Bates. They are fantastic and play New Order and Joy Division hits to giddy crowds.

What is more literary than that?
